WILBERFORCE
is located at the junction of Downe Road and Westerham
Road, Keston – opposite Keston Church. Map
grid reference 419 630 on Ordnance Survey 1:50,000
sheet 177.
Wilberforce comprises eight acres of open and wooded
land and is suitable for camping and other indoor
and outdoor activities – both residential
and part or full day non-residential events. |

Wilberforce is owned by Bromley
District Scout Council and Bromley Scouts may use
the outdoor camping facilities at minimal rates.
Other people – including Scouts from other
Districts, Guides, Schools etc. are welcome to use
the facilities at charges designed to cover the
outgoings. Charges are kept under constant review. |

GREATOAKS -
Located on the Wilberforce camp site, Great Oaks
is a modern, permanent building designed to accommodate
30 overnight and for more for daytime activities.
There are two dormitories with bunk beds for 14
and 10 and two rooms each with three beds.
A well equipped kitchen with large refrigerators,
freezer, gas stove and ample work tops and cupboards.Great
Oaks also has electric lighting and gas heating,
main drainage toilets,
shower, telephone etc. |

| JIMS CABIN -
Also located on the Wilberforce camp site, Jims
Cabin is available as sleeping accommodation for
10, living / dining quarters for more or as obligatory
alternative emergency accommodation for Cub Pack
holidays. Jims Cabin is Ideal for Explorer Scout
or Ranger Guide activities. |

| Wilberforce and Great Oaks are
cared for by a team of volunteers – both men
and women – generally between 9.00am and 1.00pm
on Tuesdays. Offers of help are always welcome. |
