About M*E*S*H*

MESH, properly known as M*E*S*H (it stands for Mixing Explorer Scout Holiday), started in Chislehurst District in 2005.  The camp is devised to encourage Explorers from different Units to get to know each other and take part in plenty of fun and adventurous activities. MESH is open to all Explorers from Bromley plus units in Bexley.

The aim is for a weekend where Explorer Leaders can sit back and relax and let the Explorers roam around to the provided activities while letting the MESH organising team take care of (most of) the rest.

MESH 2026

 Ahoy there, ready to ditch the dry land set sail this summer? Then strap in and prepare to set sail for Pirate themed MESH 2026. This isn’t your average expedition. We’re weighing anchor and hunting for glory, so don’t be the one left standing on the dock.

We’re launching from the Adamswell Scout Campsite sailing between the 3rd to 5th July 2026.

Crews will need to provide their own camping gear and most of their own food. A themed crew dinner on Saturday evening is included as part of the price and will be cooked by Galley Chefs. All other meals will need to be supplied by the crews units attending. Units are encouraged to join up with other units to camp together if they wish.

When: Friday 3rd July – Sunday 5th  July 2026

Where: Adamswell Site Campsite

Theme: Pirates! (Saturday night dress up – optional but encouraged!)

Price: Please ask your Explorer Leader

Price includes: Camping fees, all activities, dinner on Sat. eve and other hidden surprises!

Arrival: Friday 18:00 Camp Finishes: Sunday 13:30 (units tend to dismantle tents/marquees afterwards)

What you need: Units will need to bring their own tents and camping equipment plus food.
