Bromley Scouts, the largest Scouting District in the Country, meets the Mayor of Bromley and local Councillors

Date: 23rd Mar 2025 Author: Sheila Howard

Representatives from Bromley District leaders and young people had the opportunity to meet the Mayor and local councillors to promote the launch of 60 volunteers for 60 years of Bromley Council.

As the largest youth organisation in the Borough, but with large waiting lists for places, the Scouts need new volunteers who can spare a hour or two to share skills and teach young people skills for life.

Volunteers do not need previous scouting experience, as training and guidance will be given following the necessary safety checks. So if you enjoy working with young people, have an interesting or practical job or hobby, come and join the rewarding scouting adventure and give back to your local community.
