Scouts of Steel

Scouts of Steel ā€“ The ultimate test of teamwork and agility, Scouts of Steel saw 195 Scouts and 52 Explorers battle it out at Bears Wood in the famous District assault course competition.

The all new course, longer and harder than before, meant this was by no means a walk in the park. A great day was had by all and Iā€™m sure everyone slept well that night!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
