The passing of our Patron and Sovereign, HM the Queen

It is with deep sadness that Bromley Scouts joins the country in mourning the loss of Our Patron and Sovereign, HM the Queen who sadly passed away this afternoon.

She was an inspiration to us all and a role model for our young people across the world.

We would like to offer our condolences to His Majesty the King and the Royal Family at this very sad time.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
